About The Position

Role Overview: The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team through a combination of HR operations support, data integrity projects, process automation initiatives, and research into the use of AI tools within HR workflows. This internship offers hands-on experience to core HR processes, systems and strategic process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with HR systems, data management or process improvement (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application to business or HR workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR administrative and operational activities, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS data maintenance.
  • Conduct an audit of HRIS data to assess accuracy, consistency, and completeness of employee records.
  • Assist with organizing and cleaning up HR documentation and shared repositories.
  • Partner with HR team members to identify and support process automation opportunities.
  • Research AI tools and applications and develop research findings and recommendations that could improve HR efficiency, accuracy, or employee experience.
  • Support HR reporting and analytics by compiling and organizing data.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, internal projects, and other special People Operations assignments.
