About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in HR operations within a structured and compliance-driven environment. As an HR Intern, you will support onboarding, HR systems, and day-to-day administrative processes while gaining exposure to core HR functions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Send welcome emails to new hires
  • Share internal new hire announcements
  • Send new hire notifications to internal teams
  • Enter new hire information into HRIS
  • Assist with I-9 documentation coordination
  • Set up electronic personnel files
  • Maintain onboarding tracker
  • Send termination notifications to internal teams
  • Update termination status in HRIS
  • Maintain offboarding tracker
  • File termination documentation
  • Monitor and respond to HR inbox inquiries
  • Process employee data changes in HRIS (data entry)
  • Maintain employee records and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Support benefit invoice reconciliation (data comparison)
  • Compile monthly turnover reports
  • Assist with HR ticket tracking in OnePortal
