Requirements

  • Must be able to travel between the two St. Louis properties: Hollywood Casino St. Louis in Maryland Heights & River City Casino & Hotel in Lemay.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full cycle of the J-1 internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and offboarding.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization, visa sponsors, and interns.
  • Coordinate pre-arrival communication, housing arrangements, and orientation sessions.
  • Provide ongoing support to interns throughout their program, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
  • Partner with department managers to define internship roles and expectations.
  • Coordinate cultural events to engage with the students and provide cultural exchange.
  • Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws
  • Adheres to all departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
