HR Intern Position Summary: The HR Intern provides quality administrative support to the HR Team. Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities: Assist with summer project for updating job descriptions company-wide Assist with creation of employee training programs/manuals and evaluating effectiveness Assist with quarterly management trainings Assist with annual 401k audit Assist with creation of Safety Archive for company-wide safety engagement and compliance tracking Participate in organizing company events and employee engagement efforts Assist with new hire orientation/onboarding Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates as needed Assist with maintaining electronic personnel files Assist with creating company communications Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects Other tasks as assigned Qualification Requirements: Pursuing Associates or bachelor’s in business related field, with focus in HR. Experience with MS Office Good communication skills Working Conditions/Environment: Works primarily in an office environment. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors or dust. All required PPE must be worn at all times while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
