About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic student who is eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to both the daily operations and dynamic projects for our HR team. This individual as the Human Resources Intern will provide support to the Corporate HR Department. This position plays a role in the human resources life cycle (e.g. onboarding, off boarding, recruiting, employee engagement, etc.). They will report to the Sr. Director, Human Resources. This role will be based in our New York, NY office and requires regular in-office presence five days per week.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated team and leadership experience at school or work
  • Excellent professional communication and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service commitment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information or situations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Maintain high integrity with a service-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for day-to-day employee life-cycle changes
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support recruitment activities such as job creation, posting, and interview scheduling
  • Support Summer Internship Program
  • Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources (e.g. benefits, policy and other HR processes)
  • Collaborate with HR team members on corporate projects and initiatives
  • Aid with facilitating employee rewards and recognition program
  • Assist various ad hoc HR duties as requested
