About The Position

We're looking for an HR Generalist to join this team and help build the systems, processes, and moments that make Smarty a great place to work. You'll work with people who care, on problems that matter, and still have fun doing it. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Orem, UT.

Requirements

2 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar
Experience with Rippling or a comparable HRIS/ATS platform strongly preferred
Solid grasp of core HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance basics
Strong attention to detail and comfort with confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
A team member focused mindset and genuine interest in employee experience

Nice To Haves

SaaS or technology company experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Managing full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer extension
Serving as primary administrator for our HRIS, maintaining accurate team member data and generating reports as needed
Coordinating new hire onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, system setup, and logistics
Responding to team member inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and general HR matters
Maintaining HR compliance documentation and recordkeeping, and tracking required trainings and reporting
Supporting benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and vendor coordination
Assisting with performance management processes, including documentation and tracking
Maintaining team member files and records in accordance with legal and company requirements
Advising hiring managers on compensation execution, including offer letters and pay change requests
Supporting employee engagement and culture initiatives
