By maintaining a large inventory, we provide reliable next-day service to customers across Western Canada. We are looking for an experienced HR manager to join our team on-site at our Langley BC Location. Working closely with leadership, this role will streamline HR practices, support managers, ensure legislative compliance, and help build a strong, scalable people strategy that supports the company's continued growth.

Requirements

5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with experience in a generalist or HR leadership capacity.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and improving HR policies, procedures, and standardized processes.
Strong experience with performance management, including performance reviews, probationary reviews, goal setting, feedback processes, and manager coaching.
Knowledge of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and employee documentation.
Experience partnering with senior leadership and managers to provide HR guidance and support business objectives.
Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices in British Columbia and Alberta.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and continuous standardization of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization.
Standardize and document HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee documentation.
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with employment legislation in British Columbia and Alberta.
Partner with managers to promote consistent HR practices and provide guidance on employee matters.
Improve and oversee the onboarding process, ensuring all departments follow established procedures.
Support performance management through probation reviews, coaching, feedback, and employee documentation.
Assist with recruitment, including offer letters, hiring support, and maintaining a consistent candidate experience.
Maintain accurate HR records and standardized documentation.
Coordinate benefits of administration and support payroll processes as required.
Stay current on changes to Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices, proactively recommending updates to company policies and procedures.
