About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) team is seeking a high-energy, growth mindset HR Generalist who enjoys working with a diverse workforce. You will be responsible for supporting and/or performing a variety of day-to-day duties in the following functional areas: payroll actions, benefits administration, recruiting and onboarding, HRIS, project management, policy implementation, affirmative action, employee relations, talent development, training, and employment law compliance. The HR Generalist will partner with the Director of HR to support our business growth needs, in conjunction with the VP of HR, who reviews and recommends operational actions and strategic HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)
  • Intermediate to advance level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures as assigned.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and administration of human capital policies and procedures, based on business needs and legal changes.
  • Maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual in partnership with the HR team.
  • Communicates with the HR team to ensure awareness of what is happening in assigned areas for business continuity, risk mitigation and alignment.
  • Supports full life cycle recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt employees. This will include, but is not limited to: New hire requisition approvals; writing job postings, placing posting on corporate careers website and job boards.
  • Works with hiring managers to properly prepare for employee’s start with the organization.
  • Assists with employee related issues and/or investigations; works through employee relations concerns and issues for solutions in partnership with Director of HR.
  • Function as primary point of contact for assigned employee group regarding benefits, payroll, time off requests.
  • Manage special projects related to talent development, strategic planning, people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintain HRIS application (UKG) to ensure accuracy of employee data.
