The HR Generalist will administer and ensure compliance with FMLA, EEOC, ADA, and other applicable laws. This role will assist with maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS, provide employee counseling on work-related and personal matters, and handle routine HR inquiries. The HR Generalist will serve as the primary point of contact for HR policy and process guidance, escalating to COEs when appropriate. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, identifying issues related to product, process, or quality systems, and recommending solutions. The role also involves participating in the hiring process, conducting HR transactions such as orientation, leaves of absence, and exit meetings, and maintaining a positive departmental image. Additionally, the HR Generalist will support and implement positive employee relations programs, coordinate plant welfare activities, and serve as a technical advisor to employee involvement teams. This position will also conduct the annual wage and benefit survey, collect and analyze HR data for reports, perform root-cause analysis, and assist with developing and delivering training programs. The HR Generalist will identify opportunities to increase efficiency in HR service delivery, develop and maintain clear documentation, and support departmental HR projects. General responsibilities include maintaining 5S standards, supporting Affirmative Action requirements, and developing and implementing special projects to enhance the work environment. The HR Generalist holds the authority and responsibility to stop the production line if a safety or quality issue arises and will perform all other tasks assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
