About The Position

The HR Generalist contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and high behavior expectations to ensure a superior employment experience. In this role, the HR Generalist manages the administration of HR operations. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration support to employees, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ HR Generalist experience.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and practices and HR policies and procedures.
  • 2 – 4 years Recruitment experience.
  • Excellent PC software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Exhibit a very high degree of confidentiality at all times.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP a preferred.
