Overview: The HR Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the overall HR function at OnPoint. This position will partner closely with our HR team, including HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and other areas of the team as needed to provide comprehensive HR support across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Leave of Absence (LOA) Administration: Supports the full cycle of LOA processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other state and federal leave laws for employees in Oregon and Washington states. Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding LOA eligibility, documentation requirements, and return-to-work processes. Coordinate with medical providers and insurance carriers to obtain required medical certifications. Track and maintain accurate records of LOA usage and return-to-work dates. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local leave laws. HR Generalist Support: Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, including answering questions about HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Provide operational support to HR Business Partners and HR Operations Assist with onboarding new hires, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and orientation. Process employee transactions, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Support HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training and development, and diversity and inclusion efforts. Support other areas of the HR function as needed for daily operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3 years of experience in HR or generalist role, preferably in a financial institution. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws for Oregon and Washington, including FMLA, PLO, ADA, and workers' compensation. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: PHR or SPHR certification. Experience with LOA administration. Experience with HRIS systems, such as Dayforce and Qcera.
