About The Position

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is adding an HR Generalist to our People Team. You'll provide hands-on support across HR Operations and Recruiting. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who enjoys balancing tactical work with opportunities to support overall people strategy, improve processes, and help shape a positive employee experience in a fast-paced corporate setting. We’re looking for an HR Generalist with at least three years of corporate HR experience to support day-to-day HR operations and recruiting activities. You will report to our Director of People & Development and execute transactional HR tasks, help ensure compliance with employment law, handle confidential matters with discretion, and work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance basics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook and MS Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP and Oracle
  • Experience with Taleo or other applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience with Asana is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Support HR Operations and Recruiting with transactional and tactical tasks (onboarding, data entry, offer letters, scheduling, applicant tracking support).
  • Maintain and update HR records and systems accurately and confidentially.
  • Apply working knowledge of employment law to routine HR processes and escalate complex issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, employees, and managers (written and verbal).
  • Prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Use MS Outlook and MS Teams daily to coordinate and collaborate.
  • Assist with basic HR reporting and ad hoc analytics to support decision-making.
  • Manage sensitive employee issues with strict confidentiality and good judgment.
  • Resolve routine employee questions and conflicts; escalate when necessary.
