About The Position

We are seeking an HR Generalist for a long-term contract role in Fall River, MA. This position will provide daily HR support to the Fall River manufacturing site and play an integral role in enhancing the employee experience. The HR Generalist will support employee relations, recruitment and hiring logistics, onboarding, trainee program coordination, leave of absence support, HR transactions, and HRIS data maintenance. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions and HR inquiries.
  • Support documentation of employee relations cases, investigations, and follow-ups.
  • Assist managers with HR policy interpretation under the guidance of HR staff.
  • Track attendance issues, corrective actions, and policy compliance.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with interview scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics.
  • Post job requisitions, monitor candidate movement, and support applicant management.
  • Participate in interview panels for entry-level roles.
  • Support job fairs, campus recruiting, and trainee pipeline initiatives.
  • Coordinate pre-hire activities including document collection, checks, onboarding tasks, and system setup.
  • Manage logistics for new hire orientation and ensure a seamless first-day experience.
  • Maintain onboarding materials, checklists, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with logistical coordination for Trainee Programs, including onboarding and engagement programs.
  • Maintain trackers for trainee timelines, documentation, and program milestones.
  • Support orientation and training rotations for trainees.
