About The Position

Englert has been the gold standard and a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and gutter systems. We are actively seeking an HR Generalist who will be responsible for performing a wide variety of HR-related duties, including, but not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment and retention, and employment law compliance. Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HRIS systems ADP preferred.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as word processing, managing physical & electronic files and records, and other office procedures.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the spelling and meaning of words, rules of composition and grammar.
  • Knowledge of principles and standards for providing excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based collaborative applications such as Dropbox, Basecamp, Google Apps, iCalendar, Outlook and related programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of coordinating all aspects of large and small-scale projects, events, and meetings.
  • Communicates effectively by writing clearly and informatively with a high level of sophistication and varies writing styles to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Establishes long-range objectives and specifies the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management.
  • Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions while using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field, or similar major/equivalent work experience.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Completes employment verifications, annual surveys, and governmental reporting (EEO-1, Multiple Worksite Reports, etc.) as required.
  • Conducts new-employee orientations and trains management on the onboarding process as necessary.
  • Ensures all government posting requirements are met across all locations, i.e. federal and state labor law posters, internal company policies, etc.
  • Provides full-service administrative support on various HR projects, including performance management, onboarding, open enrollment, etc.
  • Oversees the maintenance of all personnel files.
  • Composes and prepares routine correspondence (i.e., letters, memos, reports, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Ensures proper facilitation, inputting, and recording of all HR related data into relevant systems.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assists with benefits administration, including claims resolution, reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Ensures a superior level of customer service is achieved.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends seminars.
  • Maintains professionalism and confidentiality of employment information.
  • Maintains a high level of visibility, accessibility, and interaction with the Manufacturing team members.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature as required.
  • Supports hiring managers and Manufacturing with workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, pay, benefits administration, and training needs.
  • Responsible for the staffing plan, relationships with the recruiting team and temporary employment agencies, and working with the Director of manufacturing HR to deliver staffing at appropriate levels.
  • Recruitment in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team for screening resumes, interviewing, and candidate selection.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding program/activities and new hire orientation.
  • Assists with workforce planning, surveys, and other key components of workforce management.
  • Manage and update the Manufacturing headcount report.
  • Supports the Talent Review System process.
