About The Position
The HR Generalist supports a variety of human resources functions, including onboarding, benefits and leave administration, employee relations, performance management, and policy administration. This role serves as a primary resource for employee HR inquiries and helps ensure a positive and compliant workplace.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of human resources experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration of day-to-day human resources programs and initiatives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and applicant HR-related questions.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and new hire onboarding.
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and other HR processes.
- Support performance management, including performance reviews and employee development.
- Conduct employee relations activities, including exit interviews and issue resolution.
- Coordinate employee engagement and team-building initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with local colleges, universities, and community organizations to support recruitment initiatives.
- Represent the organization at college and community job fairs to promote employment opportunities and strengthen the employer brand.
