About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a wide range of human resource functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR practices align with company goals and legal requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
2–5+ years of human resources, business administration or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Experience with major HRIS platforms (ADP Vantage preferred).
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of HR and payroll compliance requirements (e.g., EEO-1, FLSA, ACA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist the HR Director and HR Manager with key department initiatives.
Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
Audit benefits leading into open enrollment and periodically throughout the year.
Support payroll by providing help desk support during system outages and on payroll processing days, as needed.
Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Coordinate employee training and professional development initiatives.
Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management.
Support employee engagement initiatives.
Assist with disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution as needed.
