About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) supports Manufacturing Operations by delivering exceptional employee and leader support while driving a positive employee experience, operational excellence, and workforce effectiveness. This role partners closely with employees, people leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and cross-functional teams to support employee relations, workforce administration, HR operations, compliance, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives. The HRG serves as a trusted resource by providing policy guidance, supporting employee relations activities, administering workforce transactions, maintaining HR data integrity, and helping execute HR programs that support business objectives. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resource Management or related field desired.
  • 0-3 years' experience in Human Resources as an HR Coordinator, Administrative Support professional, or related role; or a Master's Degree in Human Resources or another applicable field.
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficient Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a strong focus on employee data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, adapt to competing priorities, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HR systems, workforce reporting, employee data management, and administrative processes preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, logistics, warehouse, or other large-scale operations environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and leaders regarding HR-related questions, policies, and workplace concerns.
  • Conduct employee relations intake meetings and support investigations, documentation, fact-finding, and case management activities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders on employee relations matters, corrective actions, attendance administration, and workforce initiatives.
  • Support attendance administration, reporting, audits, and workforce transaction processing.
  • Process Change of Status (COS) transactions, employee transfers, shift changes, department moves, and organizational updates.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions, position information, and organizational data.
  • Conduct HR audits and ensure employee and position data accuracy within HR systems.
  • Analyze workforce data and prepare reports related to attendance, attrition, employee experience, and organizational trends.
  • Support offboarding, exit interviews, employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders regarding employee matters, policies, and HR processes.
  • Provide general guidance on benefits and leave programs and connect employees with appropriate resources.
  • Participate in compliance activities, workforce planning, continuous improvement efforts, and other site HR initiatives.
  • Administer the Arizona Bereavement Program and support shift differential administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
