Join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Generalist, where you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations that keep our workforce running efficiently. In this position, you will manage essential HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, HR data management, policy administration, and compliance. You'll help ensure HR operations are accurate, organized, and aligned with federal, state, and local employment laws, while supporting company policies and business objectives. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working across multiple functional areas and making a direct impact on organizational success. You will report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience supporting multiple HR functions, including employee lifecycle administration, compliance, HRIS, or employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, with experience creating reports, maintaining documentation, and managing HR data.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, HR policies, leave administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience maintaining employee records, processing personnel transactions, and ensuring HR data accuracy.
  • Ability to generate and analyze HR reports, workforce metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, terminations, employment verifications, background checks, and other core HR operations.

  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer critical HR operations, including unemployment claims, employment verifications, separation documentation, and state reporting requirements while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain and audit employee data within ADP Workforce Now, including personnel records, payroll-related information, labor reports, and system updates to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities, including new hire onboarding, new account openings, transfers, promotions, terminations, exit interviews, and all associated HR documentation.
  • Coordinate compliance programs, including leave of absence (LOA) administration, background check processing, policy distribution and acknowledgments, employment eligibility documentation, and union-related HR requirements.
  • Administer employee relations processes by coordinating documentation for investigations, performance improvement plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and other employment records.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, including employee census, workforce metrics, labor data, and compliance reporting to support business operations and leadership decision-making.
  • Assist with HR audits, process improvements, system updates, and special projects that support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
