HR Generalist

About The Position

The HR Generalist will support day-to-day HR operations and assist with full employee lifecycle processes. This role partners closely with the Human Resources Manager on initiatives that enhance employee engagement and drive business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 3–5+ years of HR experience
  • Knowledge of key employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership, confidentiality, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of employee service across the organization

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hiring activities, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
  • Assist with onboarding processes and support new hire orientation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS data
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal standards
  • Support workers' compensation claim processing, leave of absence administration, and benefits-related tasks
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Assist with policy updates and employee handbook maintenance
