LMH Health is seeking an HR Generalist to support the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. This role involves both administrative and strategic responsibilities, assisting with staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Exceptional Organization Skills
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders across the organization utilizing interpersonal communication
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Capability to display compassion and empathy
  • Demonstration of high level decision making and critical thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, established computer literacy skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
  • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes
  • Preserves and assures confidentiality of data and employee concerns.
  • Responsible for other duties as needed or assigned
