As an HR Generalist supporting the Microsoft AI (MAI) organization, one of Microsoft's fastest-growing businesses, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, partnering with HR Business Partners and Recruiting to scale teams, develop talent, and strengthen organizational effectiveness. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology, or related field AND 7+ years experience with HR or related experience (e.g., hiring, training, performance management) involving applicable employment laws and policies OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Recruiting and HR Business Partners to support hiring, onboarding, internal mobility, and workforce growth strategies that enable business scale and talent success.
  • Influence and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to shape and adapt company programs, policies, and initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the MAI organization while maintaining alignment with Microsoft priorities.
  • Act as an employee advocate by identifying themes, removing friction points, and improving experiences across the employee lifecycle in partnership with managers, leaders, HRBPs, and Recruiting.
  • Help ensure new employees are successfully onboarded, connected, and positioned for success in a rapidly scaling organization.
  • Help leaders navigate growth, change, and organizational complexity by providing proactive guidance, identifying emerging people trends, and escalating risks as appropriate.
  • Lead and execute people initiatives that support organizational scaling, workforce growth, organizational changes, onboarding effectiveness, and talent movement.
  • Use data, insights, and workforce trends to inform recommendations, identify risks, and support business and people-related decisions.
  • Quickly adapt priorities and approaches in response to changing business needs, organizational growth, and emerging opportunities.
