About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing operational support across the People & Culture Department. Working closely with Human Resources subject matter experts, the Generalist develops broad knowledge of Human Resources while supporting day-to-day operations, projects, compliance activities, employee relations, employee engagement, benefits and leave administration, HR technology, and other departmental initiatives. This position is designed for a recent graduate or early-career Human Resources professional seeking broad exposure to multiple Human Resources disciplines. Through cross-training, mentorship, and progressively increasing responsibility, the Generalist develops the knowledge and skills necessary to support multiple Centers of Excellence and prepare for future career advancement.

Requirements

  • One to three years related experience; recent college graduate with a bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to establish positive working relationships.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
