The position is responsible for performing various employee relations duties, including FMLA administration, counseling with employees and management, participating in new employee orientation, advising Managers on personnel actions, and resolving employee complaints. The role also involves maintaining confidentiality, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, processing monthly personnel reporting, preparing periodic reports for Company and government purposes, ensuring timely tax payments, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Additionally, the HR Generalist oversees the preparation of payroll-related general ledger entries, provides managers with accurate payroll information, and acts as a secondary backup for payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and HRIS systems. The role includes establishing, interpreting, overseeing, and enforcing payroll policies and procedures, assisting in developing and implementing effective employee relations policies, and managing assigned projects.
