About The Position

Performs HR related duties on a professional level. Responsible for the following functional areas: benefits administration, compensation, employee development and performance, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment. Core Functions: Administers various human resource plans and procedures; assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Administers the compensation program; research labor market, wage surveys, and industry to determine and maintain appropriate compensation structure. Monitors the performance evaluation program, provides guidance and support. Makes recommendations for improvements. Performs benefits administration to include promotion and increased participation in wellness program. Performs full cycle recruiting. Serves as resource for candidates in relation to CSMI, employment opportunities, benefits and other areas of candidate interest. Assists in creation and evaluation of reports, metrics, and results of department and company-wide employee related areas. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed. Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from the database. Troubleshoots HRIS issues and looks for system optimization. Provides training and direction to end users. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Remains aware of current and potential rules and legislation and the impact of same. Supports Workers Compensation cases as needed. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years professional HR experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
