Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in an HR generalist, recruiter, or employee relations role, ideally including full cycle recruitment ownership
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent certifications
  • Demonstrated experience drafting sensitive HR documentation such as PIPs or investigation notes
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee matters and privileged legal correspondence
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Familiar with systems such as Google Drive, Slack, Zoom
  • Bilingualism (French & English) is a must

  • Experience supporting global or multi country teams is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment cycle end to end, from intake with hiring managers through offer negotiation and close
  • Build and manage sourcing strategy for open roles, including passive sourcing where needed
  • Design and coordinate interview processes, including structured interview guides and debrief facilitation
  • Manage the candidate experience from first contact through onboarding handoff
  • Prepare offer letters and support compensation discussions in partnership with the VP of HR
  • Maintain ATS records and report on recruitment metrics such as time to fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness
  • Support the VP of HR and HRBP in facilitating performance enablement initiatives, including performance plan documentation, goal setting, and tracking milestone progress
  • Partner with managers on initial intake and guidance for workplace matters, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies
  • Coach and empower managers on effective communication, continuous feedback, and performance alignment
  • Promote a fair, compliant, and inclusive work environment by assisting leadership with objective issue resolution and employee guidance
  • Support HR leadership on sensitive workplace matters, maintaining high confidentiality and aligning solutions with company policies and local labor laws
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee relations case files
  • Assess workplace scenarios thoughtfully, escalating complex or high-risk matters to HR leadership with clear context and recommended next steps
  • Support the growing talent pool as the company expands globally, including recruitment and employee onboarding.
  • Identify workplace trends and feedback to help HR leadership proactively enhance employee engagement, retention, and team health
  • Provide backup coverage for day to day HR operations, including onboarding logistics, benefits enrollment support, and HRIS updates
  • Participate as a secondary point of contact for employee HR inquiries
  • Support compliance efforts by flagging concerns related to employment laws and internal policies
  • Contribute to HR reporting and administrative tasks
  • Provide input on policy development, particularly where it intersects with recruitment or employee relations
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as contributing ideas or helping execute events
  • Contribute to other HR projects and initiatives as the team expands globally
