About The Position

Responsible for providing support in the functional areas of compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), employee development, and related areas. Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and related government regulations. This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS Responsible for creating positions and requisitions for posting, and screening to find the most qualified candidates for various positions. Manage full cycle recruiting process for all applicants ensuring a smooth and positive experience Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and team goals Drive offer process - including generating and extending offers, and closing candidates Assist in facilitating new employee onboarding Under limited supervision, performs professional level support activities in one or more functional areas of human resources. Performs work that is varied, may be somewhat difficult in character, and requires discretion and independent judgment. Research, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on assigned projects. Provides assistance to line management and employees. Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures. Prepares reports in conformance with legal requirements or organization needs. Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment This job description is not intended to include every duty, task or instruction for which an employee is responsible. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business-related field. Two (2) years of professional experience. Basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • OR Associates degree in Human Resources or business-related field and Four (4) years of professional experience. Basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • OR High School Diploma\GED and Four (4) years of professional experience. Basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without Amentum visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
  • (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge.)
