About The Position

Overture Home Care is seeking an organized, people-focused HR Generalist I to support our Dallas branch. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys recruiting, working directly with employees and leaders, and being involved in multiple areas of Human Resources. As the HR Generalist I, you will support the employee lifecycle from recruitment through separation and serve as a key HR resource for our Dallas team. You will work closely with the HR Services Manager and branch leadership to recruit great employees, coordinate onboarding, maintain HR records, support compliance, and provide responsive day-to-day HR support. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience preferred
  • Recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience using or learning HRIS, applicant tracking, and workforce management systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
  • Basic knowledge of employment practices and employment law
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for the Dallas branch, including job postings, sourcing, applicant screening, and initial interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and assist with employment offers
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, employment eligibility verification, employment verifications, and required onboarding documentation
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, onboarding records, and HR documentation
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions
  • Assist employees and managers with HR systems, employee self-service, PTO requests, and other routine HR needs
  • Maintain accurate employee information within HR systems
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and the overall employee experience
  • Help coordinate performance review cycles and track completion
  • Support I-9, E-Verify, personnel file, onboarding, policy, and employment documentation compliance
  • Prepare recruiting, turnover, onboarding, and other HR reports
  • Maintain recruiting dashboards and workforce metrics
  • Partner with the HR Services Manager and leadership on employee concerns, escalating complex matters when appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information
