As an HR Experience Platform Product Owner within PNC's HR Strategy Delivery and Risk organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland or Columbus OH; Birmingham, AL; Downers Grove, IL; Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; East Brunswick, NJ. Own the HR “front door” product and backlog, including portal, case, knowledge, search, personalization, and AI assist/agent capabilities. Ensure the experience layer integrates seamlessly with Workday and other HR tools. Steward UX, taxonomy, and data standards in partnership with the Design Authority. Owns the vision and definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the Customer. Ensures the Scrum Team(s) effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value. Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to ensure a successful product for business objectives. Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog. Works closely with the Scrum Master(s) and development team(s), to ensure the right items are focused on during the development process. Primary point of contact for questions from the team(s) and is empowered to make decisions. Requirements

  • Product management expertise (prioritization, delivery, value measurement).
  • Platform experience: ServiceNow / Workday Extend / metadata, search, content ops.
  • AI enablement: prompt patterns, governance, risk controls, human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
  • Strong UX stewardship, taxonomy design, and data contract management.
  • Systems thinking across process, experience, content, and technology.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the EX platform product roadmap and backlog.
  • Shape vision and requirements for case management, knowledge, portal experience, and AI agents.
  • Integrate Workday and satellite systems into a unified experience.
  • Lead UX and taxonomy alignment across content, search, and workflow design.
  • Define platform success measures and conduct experiments (testing, usability, value tracking).
  • Maintain partnership with Tech, HRIS, Risk/Legal, Process, and Design teams for compliant delivery.
