This position is an onsite role based in Plano, TX. Who We’re Looking For The TFS Enterprise Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Owner to drive the development and innovation of our internal developer platform. In this role, you will lead a team to create a world-class development environment that empowers engineers and supports our organization's ongoing transformation. As a Technical Product Owner, you will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders to identify key challenges and opportunities in the developer ecosystem. Your expertise in the software delivery lifecycle, cloud technologies, and best practices will enable you to define and execute a clear product vision, ensuring a seamless and efficient development experience.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in technology implementations, product management, and technical leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies and modern software development practices, with a strong ability to solve technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical and business concepts across diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of product management experience with a focus on technical platforms, and 5+ years of people management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience building and scaling horizontal platforms or cloud-native applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale, mission-critical cloud solutions for enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and delivery of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) portal, focusing on unified infrastructure provisioning and app onboarding experiences
  • Provide product leadership collaborating with customers, engineering, and architecture teams to gather requirements and align on target experience
  • Define and document user journeys, target state experience diagrams, detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and product features
  • Drive development of self-service onboarding workflows, application and compute golden paths within the portal
  • Manage UI/UX enhancements to improve usability and adoption of the portal
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment and secure approvals from infosec, product and engineering leadership
  • Validate features through pilot testing and customer feedback to ensure value delivery
  • Define, design, track and report on product success metrics articulating value delivered in terms of developer productivity and developer satisfaction
  • Own end-to-end feature lifecycle from ideation through delivery, testing, and rollout within the IDP portal environment
