About The Position
The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing on-demand support for legal projects. They have an opportunity for an attorney with expertise in HR/Employment Law in Washington to provide written responses to client inquiries on employment and business law matters for their clients, who are SMBs nationwide. This role involves research, review, and drafting of employment and business law-related policies, forms, and documents.
Requirements
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in Washington
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR/Employment Law
- In-depth understanding of HR/Employment Law in licensed State
- Clear, concise, comprehensive written communicator
- Able to provide written, complete answers to client inquiries in one response in most cases
- Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Provide written responses to client inquiries on everyday employment and business law matters.
- Conduct research, review, and drafting of employment and business law-related policies, forms, and documents.
