About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing on-demand support for legal projects. We partner with client law firms who contract nationwide with SMBs to offer written responses to client inquiries on employment and business law matters. This opportunity is for an attorney with expertise in HR/Employment Law in Illinois, focusing on providing email and phone support.

Requirements

Licensed in good standing to practice law in Illinois
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR/Employment Law
In-depth understanding of HR/Employment Law in Illinois
Clear, concise, comprehensive written communication skills
Ability to provide complete written answers to client inquiries in one response in most cases
Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines
Self-starter and able to work independently

Responsibilities

Provide written responses to submitted client inquiries on everyday employment and business law matters.
Conduct research, review, and drafting of employment and business law-related policies, forms, and documents.
