Responsibilities

  • Process employment applications and maintain tracking log; assist in scheduling interviews and pre-employment testing
  • Administer employee engagement activities.
  • Assist implementation and management of EH&S programs, policies and procedures
  • Update Applicant Tracking System with new hires; off-board terminated employees
  • Prepare and conduct training
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Maintain weekly manpower schedule; Update Kronos with shift changes (audit records)
  • Run weekly attendance reports and administer write ups
  • Assist and motivate with completion of required training courses.
  • Administer HRIS system changes.
  • Assist with employee benefit issues
  • Assist on various HR special projects; participate on a team.
  • Maintain employee files
  • Assist with walk in questions
  • Participate in plant and departmental meetings.
  • Serve as back up to HR Generalist and HR Manager
  • Identify hazardous conditions within the plant and recommend corrective measures
  • Investigate and prepare presentations for incidents and property losses
  • Assist with Management of Change reviews on production equipment and processes
  • Review, electronically file, and maintain SDS sheets
  • Conduct safety risk assessments
  • Conduct safety walks
  • Conduct Regulatory Inspections
  • Other duties as assigned
