About The Position

This role supports essential HR Data and Records operations by processing employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, leaves of absence, job changes, and terminations. The position ensures accurate, timely HR and payroll‑related data processing, resolves service requests within established SLAs, and supports compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. The role also partners with HR and business teams to maintain data integrity and support day‑to‑day HR operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • For HR Data and Records Specialist (Grade 4): 2 years related work experience.
  • 1 year of Workday support experience.
  • For HR Data and Records Specialist Senior (Grade 5): 4 years related work experience.
  • 2 years of Workday support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process employee returns from all types of leave of absence (LOA), including Disability (LTD), Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), and related programs, ensuring accurate and timely execution in accordance with established procedures.
  • Resolve assigned service tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), prioritizing workload to support business continuity.
  • Analyze and adjust employee leave balances and related time data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze and process employee terminations, including final pay calculations, processing of vested assets, and identification of applicable prior employment programs based on dates of service.
  • Perform service data calculations for the Leased Employee Worksheet and other similar programs.
  • Support core HR transactions across key lifecycle events, including Hire, Rehire, Transfer, Transitions, and Terminations.
  • Review HR data for discrepancies, trends, or potential control violations in alignment with HR data governance standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Sarbanes‑Oxley, HIPAA).
  • Review and process position updates, corrections, and position creation to ensure appropriate attributes and alignment with organizational structure.
  • Coordinate position changes with business line support teams and managers to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
  • Write test cases and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, updates, and implementations.
  • Research and resolve data errors or transaction issues, collaborating with HR partners and business teams as needed.
  • Participate in HR initiatives by providing operational insight and transactional support related to organizational and compensation changes.
