Doherty is excited to welcome a new HR Coordinator to the team at its Edina, MN office. This is a part-time, onsite position with a flexible schedule of 9a-3p. The HR Coordinator provides recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional candidate and employee experience by assisting with job postings, candidate sourcing, onboarding activities, and general HR and office administrative support.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • 2+ years of human resources experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and post job openings on various job boards and company platforms.
  • Source qualified candidates using online recruiting tools, databases, and social media platforms.
  • Review resumes and assist with candidate pipeline management.
  • Support the maintenance of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and recruiting documentation.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and orientation schedules.
  • Serve as a backup to new hire orientation and benefits orientation.
  • Assist with the coordination of new hire set-up (systems access, Nectar, etc.).
  • Ensure the completion of all required onboarding paperwork, eLearning, and compliance documentation.
  • Serve as a backup contact for all new hires throughout the onboarding process.
  • Assist with MN Paid Leave process and records maintenance.
  • Coordinate corporate training scheduling, prepare materials, book hotel rooms, request name tags, etc.
  • Provide support to area trainers, as needed.
  • Assist with company and office-related events, including but not limited to, ordering pies, donuts, lunches, etc.
  • Create Kahoot! activities or assist with employee trainings and eLearnings.
  • Manage the employee milestone-anniversary program.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Assist with general office operational and administrative tasks, including but not limited to, sending out communication about company raffles/drawings, breakroom duty, etc.
  • Coordinate meetings, meeting materials, and office logistics.
  • Act as backup support to the Safety & Risk Manager related to Shred It and other miscellaneous facilities tasks.
  • Manage the monthly Costco and coffee orders for the Corporate Office.
  • Maintain responsibility for conference room calendars.
  • All other duties as assigned.
