About The Position

We are seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five Star resort. The HR Coordinator will support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department and assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, benefits administration, payroll support, employee engagement initiatives, and various HR administrative functions. This position serves as a key resources for employees and managers by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance efforts, and coordinating employee programs and activities. The ideal candidate will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of Human Resources, recruiting, payroll, benefits, administrative, or related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with employees, managers, vendors, and guests to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Ability to interact professionally and confidently with employees, managers, vendors, and guests while upholding the standards of a luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audits of employee records, payroll records, benefits files, I-9s, and other HR documentation.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, and other HR-related documents.
  • Process invoices and maintain departmental expense reports.
  • Assist with posting job vacancies on approved recruiting platforms.
  • Assist with job fairs, recruiting events, community outreach programs, and employment branding initiatives.
  • Assist with pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding sessions.
  • Assist the Payroll and Benefits Manager with payroll audits, reporting, and data entry.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Assist Training team with creating, revising, and organizing training materials, presentations, and employee resources.
  • Coordinate training schedules, training rosters, and employee attendance records when requested.
  • Assist the HR team with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, celebrations, and special events.
  • Coordinate and publish the monthly Human Resources newsletter.
  • Coordinate employee housing and hotel apartment administration.
  • Assist with apartment assignments, move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and employee communications regarding housing policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for walk-in employees and visitors, independently resolving routine matters while exercising discretion in directing sensitive or specialized requests to the appropriate personnel.
  • Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all employee and company information.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
