About The Position

Reporting to the HR Director, this role supports and contributes to various HR tasks and is crucial to the overall success of the larger team, including, Concessions, Premium, Culinary, Accounting, and IT. While no day is the same, some things you can expect in this role include: Manage and audit confidential team member files member files, records, and information - ensuring they are secure, accurate, organized, and up-to-date. Assist with document imaging, scanning, and filing. Ensure managers, supervisors, and Union team members are following company policies and procedures Support daily payroll processes by verifying timesheets and entering tips - identifying errors and processing adjustments as needed. Assists with hiring and onboarding, including presenting the onboarding PowerPoint and ensuring all paperwork is completed, compliant, and properly tracked. Participate in daily check-in processes for team members, volunteers, and temporary staff to oversee adherence to time keeping and uniform guidelines. Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with HR team, department management, department supervisors, Union delegates, and Union team members. Organize, coordinate and carry out projects under the direction of HR management – generating and deciphering reports as needed. Be present on the floor during race days to check team member placement, monitor attendance, and maintain an overall HR presence. Assist with credential and uniform distribution and laundering. Create and execute team member engagement and recognition initiatives, prioritizing desired and affordable programs. Provide methods for promoting and strengthening Levy culture and values. Consistently look for positive developments in the workplace and finds creative ways to highlight and celebrate them in engaging ways with the team. In addition, along with the HR Director, this role will: Assist in day-to-day support for employees and managers, offering guidance on policies and procedures. Support managers and supervisors in identifying and addressing team member concerns with guidance from HR management. Sustain knowledge of Levy handbook and location Union contract to answer questions and provide guidance to management, supervisors, and Union team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Sports & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, and/or Hospitality industry preferred.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish is a plus!
