HR Coordinator – Culture Builder & Engagement Specialist Continental Linen Services (CLS) Kalamazoo, MI Are you energized by building culture, connecting people, and bringing company values to life? We are looking for a dynamic HR Coordinator – Culture Builder & Engagement Specialist to help strengthen internal communications, elevate team member engagement, and support the daily operations of HR. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR, marketing, communications, or administrative experience
  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Creative thinker with an eye for branding and engagement
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable balancing culture initiatives with administrative responsibilities
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor experience a plus)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling internal communications that connect every department to CLS’s vision and goals
  • Partner with Marketing to develop recruiting and culture-focused videos
  • Drive engagement through newsletters, breakroom TV messaging, CLS Connect, and Paycor
  • Highlight team successes, milestones, and company wins
  • Develop fresh visuals for safety, recruiting, and internal initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate company-sponsored events
  • Support wellness programming and educational sessions (Lunch & Learns, etc.)
  • Build innovative ways to strengthen CLS’s brand internally and in the local community
  • Create clear, visually engaging career pathway messaging
  • Monitor daily absences and timecard accuracy
  • Review weekly payroll punches
  • Prepare attendance documentation
  • Maintain roster updates and HRIS documentation
  • Review monthly benefit billings and union dues
  • Ensure DOT compliance for drivers (medical cards & licenses)
  • General HR administrative support
