The Department is seeking (1) dedicated and experienced HR Coordinator, Senior WHAT MAKES the College of Education & Human Development a GREAT PLACE? · Generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, retirement, etc. · A knowledge-sharing organization that works collaboratively with diverse partners. · Professional development opportunities and mentorship · A rapidly growing center within an academic setting HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO: The essential duties and responsibilities of the HR Coordinator, Senior are the following: Primary support for the College Human Resources Officer Coordinates various staff processes for CEHD including the staff hiring, position review, and staff evaluation processes Serves as liaison for CEHD staff and all central HR units including, but not limited to: payroll, classification and compensation, employee relations, and talent acquisition Oversight of all payroll inquiries/actions/transactions for CEHD staff, temps, student assistants, graduate assistants and part time instructors Provides training for CEHD Business Managers and administrators on various HR topics Advises CEHD senior management and dept. administrators on HR policies and procedures Supervises one full time staff employee and indirectly supervises four-six student assistant employees Entry and approval of actions in various HR and HRIS systems Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

  • Detail oriented and can multi-task effectively
