Important: This is a Part-Time to Full-Time Position Please Note: All HR Consultants are hired part-time to start and will move to full-time as we assign more clients. The first 45 days we will assess the Consultants ability to project manage client work and ability to work independently to provide HR support to our clients. Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Consultant, or HR Manager with varying levels of responsibility.
  • Experience as an HR party of one or experience as an HR Consultant
  • Strong understanding of complex federal and CA state employment laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Project Management skills (preferably utilizing Asana).
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Office Suite, and HR technology platforms (Rippling a must).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in utilizing Asana or a similar platform for Project Management and Collaboration.
  • Bi-lingual
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Utilization of AI and Automation in systems to provide efficiency
  • Experience implementing HR systems including Gusto, Rippling, Toast, Paycor, Ashby, and ADP Run.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct HR evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Effectively project manage change initiatives based on findings of HR, Safety, and Payroll assessments.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with a recruiter to finalize job offers, conduct new employee onboarding, and facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Manage employee benefits administration and handle open enrollment from beginning to end.
  • Helping clients transition payroll/HRIS systems
  • Handling complex LOA and Accommodations.
  • Conduct workplace investigations as applicable by law or guide clients in conducting workplace investigations when required for compliance.
  • Leave of absence administration
  • Help administer performance appraisals and employee feedback surveys
  • Process payroll and reconcile benefits
  • Onboard and Offboard employees within client’s chosen system (Rippling)
  • Facilitate exit interviews
  • Assist with work comp administration and work comp audits
  • Provide ongoing HR compliance guidance.
  • Coach Owners, Managers, and Employees as necessary
  • Provide employee relations guidance and performance management tools to Managers and Owners to effectively ensure productivity in the workplace
  • Collaborate with Humanity HR Team, including utilization of Project Management boards, Calendar Management Systems, and effective use of file systems and chat communication platforms.
