About The Position

GeoSoftware is a global software business serving customers in the energy and geoscience industries through innovative technology, data, and scientific expertise. As part of Total Specific Solutions (TSS) and the broader Vela Software Group, GeoSoftware combines entrepreneurial agility with the stability, scale, and long-term focus of a global software organization. We are looking for an experienced and highly capable HR professional to join our HR team and support the GeoSoftware business within TSS and Vela. As part of a refreshed global HR support model, you will act as the primary HR partner for the GeoSoftware leadership team in the Americas while coordinating with HR colleagues in EMEA and APAC. You will help build global HR partnerships, scalable people practices, and exceptional regional HR services.

Requirements

• Several years of HR experience in an HR Generalist, HRBP, or HR Manager role.
• Experience in a SaaS, software, technology, or science-driven organization and affinity with technology and innovation.
• Comfortable working in multicultural environments and across various legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously, think critically, and execute effectively.
• Understands VMS as core to our work and actively seeks to understand its role in the BU.
• Recognizes financial stability as key to growth and uses financial insights to support HR decisions.
• Inspires and motivates others, promotes collaboration, and contributes to effective team building.
• Supports BU leaders by asking reflective questions, aiding growth, and encouraging a coaching culture.
• Supports talent development by advising managers on retention, growth, and succession planning.
• Communicates clearly and transparently and holds self and others accountable.
• Supports the BU in managing HR risks, ensuring compliance, and delivering efficient HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted HR partner to the GeoSoftware leadership team in the Americas.
• Coach regional leaders on HR best practices, talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and people leadership.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues across APAC and EMEA to ensure consistent global employee experience.
• Manage and coordinate external HR partners and service providers.
• Support the employee lifecycle, change initiatives, workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure HR governance, compliance, and risk management practices are effectively executed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the global HR support model.
