About The Position

Magnet Forensics is a global leader in digital investigative software. We are looking for an HR Co-op to join our team to provide HR administrative support to the overall HR team, including Business Partners, HR Programs, Payroll and Benefits, and Talent Acquisition. This role will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and carrying out human resource department projects and processes.

Requirements

  • A student working towards a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or Finance.
  • Excellent organizational skills in order to manage issues, projects and deadlines
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
  • Attention to detail and a focus on data integrity
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Applications

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the HR team in maintaining global HR administration including but not limited to HR filing, employment verification letters, employee surveys, training set-up, and supporting HR primes on internal committees
  • Assist with the TA social media channel
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience by providing support coordinating candidate interviews, processing background screening and assisting in the overall TA coordination process
  • Provide facilities support to our office, including internal event organization and maintaining internal supplies
  • Project support work including updating excel documents, doing research, reviewing, and assisting with document creation.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by HR

  • Hourly pay is determined using standardized, non-negotiable salary bands based on academic progression and the number of official completed work terms recognized by your academic institution.
