Job Description As an HR Business Partner at Motorola Solutions, you will align business strategy with HR initiatives across assigned client groups. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, talent management, change leadership, and employee experience—balancing high-level strategy with hands-on operational support.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3+ years of Human Resources experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

PHR/SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms; Workday preferred.
Ability to switch fluidly between high-level strategic initiatives and day-to-day administrative execution.
Deep understanding of business strategy, strong analytical skills, and sound judgment in complex employee relations matters.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust across line-level employees and senior executives.
Prior experience guiding teams through organizational change and successfully integrating acquisitions.

Responsibilities

Build Talent Capability: Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and Inclusion & Diversity initiatives in alignment with business goals.
Organizational Effectiveness: Diagnose organizational gaps, advise leaders on structure and culture, and support change management—including the integration of acquired companies.
Performance & Rewards: Lead annual talent cycles (merit, bonus, performance management) and partner with leadership on workforce planning and market benchmarking.
Issue Resolution: Handle end-to-end employee and manager inquiries. Conduct root-cause analyses to prevent repeat issues and recommend continuous process improvements.
Policy & Compliance: Ensure consistent application of HR policies, regulatory compliance, and smooth offboarding processes (including exit interviews).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits) to deliver seamless tools, systems, and services.
Insights & Projects: Leverage HRIS data to track trends and present data-driven solutions to business leaders.
