About The Position

As a Human Resources Business Partner supporting Commercial Banking’s Corporate Client Group, you will provide strategic advice and counsel to Senior Leaders and their respective leadership teams on all aspects of human resources including talent management, organizational design, change management, workforce management, leadership, employee development, performance management and rewards and recognition.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with some portion of that working directly with senior leaders.
  • Ability to prioritize high volume, competing priorities for multiple stakeholders and deliver balance of advice and counsel with strong execution capabilities.
  • Ability to understand, assess and respond to complex situations and provide strategic and innovative solutions to drive results.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities including the ability to impact, influence, and constructively challenge senior leaders.
  • Solid aptitude for change management capabilities and leadership effectiveness.
  • Strong business acumen, growth mindset, and consultative orientation.

Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy Execution: Understand HR’s Talent strategy and work with Leaders to determine people and organization implications for their teams. Apply strategies and determine local initiatives to ensure they are executed within the teams supported.
  • Business Strategy Execution: Participate in the development of business strategies and anticipate the impact of people on the organization for design and implementation.
  • Organization Development and Change: Help Leaders utilize organization structure, reward/compensation systems, leadership, teams, and culture to achieve desired results and engagement, while helping people adopt associated changes.
  • Talent Sourcing, Performance and Development: Partner with the leadership team to build organizational capability through talent acquisition and assessment. Identify development opportunities to enhance current performance, build future leadership bench strength, and ensure the organization develops needed skills for evolving business priorities. Guide performance, development, and succession planning cycles, and provide strategic feedback and coaching to leaders.
  • Advice and Consultation: Provide advice and counsel on people-related questions and issues to resolve concerns in a way that meets the needs of the individual and the organization. Be conversant with HR Data and its analysis to inform decision-making and recommend actions.
