About The Position

ARCO Design Build is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This position is aligned with key business groups to ensure seamless design, delivery and execution of a full range of HR initiatives in support of business and strategic HR objectives.

Requirements

  • Must have 5-10 years as an HR Business Partner with exposure to several areas of HR
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Feel comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Solid practical knowledge of talent management disciplines, such as: performance management, succession planning, talent planning, competency development, compensation, associate relations, talent analytics.
  • Strategic thinker, with demonstrated experience translating strategic goals/concepts into action plans and implementing initiatives at an operational level
  • Ability to manage competing, high-priority demands; prioritizing workload, managing projects and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills. Ability to establish credibility/rapport with stakeholders at all levels
  • Superior oral and written communication skills and able to adjust communication style based on the audience
  • Strong business, consultative and analytical skills, must be highly client service oriented.
  • Strong demonstration of analytical skills and ability to prepare executive ready materials
  • High comfort level working in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
  • Demonstrated passion for understanding the business and the linkages to talent management and development
  • Proven track-record in owning and driving significant HR initiatives
  • Impeccable judgment and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to advise on sensitive issues.

Nice To Haves

  • post-graduate level degree and a professional Human Resources/business certification or equivalent experience desired
  • Experience with an ATS and/or HRIS considered a plus
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Training also a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to our internal client stakeholders on all HR initiatives.
  • Consult with leaders to develop and execute our Talent Strategy.
  • Develop and guide the execution of HR programs, processes, communications, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the client group, so as to be able to identify and respond to current and future people related requirements.
  • Stay current on leading Talent trends and deliver practical and insightful thought leadership, including the development and personal growth of our people, with the objective of enabling our people to excel.
  • Support the national development of HR/Talent initiatives, identifying and managing opportunities in the client group and working more widely across the HR function to support the achievement of strategic goals.
  • Actively contribute to and collaborate with the broader HR/Talent team – sharing knowledge and practices that will help HR be more effective to the entire organization.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new performance management programs, train client leadership teams on best practices.
  • Assist in the development of compensation tools and resources to support the clients needs.
  • Manage associate relations issues, including individual cases and any needed changes to management programs for education on awareness of employment laws and best practices.
  • Interpret and advise on HR policy to assist in reaching viable solutions and managing associated risk.
  • Collaborate across our HR competency areas (Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Total Rewards) to provide seamless HR support to both client companies and HR team.
  • Assist in processing and analyzing data for reporting purposes such as headcount analysis, pipeline projections and other analysis as needed with interaction with finance.
  • Provide training to leadership and associates on HR related subjects as needed.
