Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner experience , with a background in logistics, supply chain, or high-volume distribution centers preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate a global corporate structure.
  • In-depth understanding of the logistics or supply chain industry, including operational challenges and frontline talent needs.
  • Solid experience in performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with U.S. labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and New Jersey-specific employment regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with logistics leadership to understand business priorities and provide strategic HR support to enhance organizational performance.
  • Lead talent management processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet JD’s staffing needs in U.S. logistics and warehouse operations .
  • Manage employee relations, ensure a positive work environment, and address performance or behavioral issues in compliance with federal and state regulations .
  • Support organizational change and transformation initiatives aligned with JD’s global vision.
  • Advise on compensation, benefits, and HR policies, ensuring full compliance with New Jersey state labor laws and federal Department of Labor (DOL) standards.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to continuously improve HR programs and processes.
  • Promote employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to strengthen JD’s work culture.
