This role serves as an HR Business Partner, implementing HR policies, managing HR operations in cooperation with the Shared Service Center, and providing advice on organizational and HR-related matters. The position involves facilitating critical cases and personnel issues, managing change processes with accountable management, and collaborating with engineering, production, and R&D leaders to align HR strategies with technical workforce needs. Key responsibilities include advising on skill gaps, training programs, and recruitment for automotive engineers, technicians, and production staff, as well as partnering with hiring managers to assess technical competencies and ensure recruitment processes evaluate hands-on skills. The role also entails planning succession and retention strategies, leading performance management processes, and maintaining adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR; Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience supporting manufacturing sites.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and compliance is essential.
  • Ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and support organizational change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with leaders and influence decisions.
  • Experience with Day-to-day HR execution, including recruiting support, payroll/benefits administration, and workforce planning.
  • Experience working in HRIS systems and other software platforms such as MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and apply HR policies and guidelines in assigned organization.
  • Plan, ensure and / or execute HR-related operations in cooperation with the Shared Service Center (SSC).
  • Provide advice on all organization and HR-related matters.
  • Facilitate in critical cases and personnel issues.
  • Liaise with accountable management to manage change processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D leaders to align HR strategies with technical workforce needs.
  • Advise on skill gaps, training programs, and recruitment for automotive engineers, technicians, and production staff.
  • Partner with hiring managers to assess technical competencies for engineering, quality control, and manufacturing roles.
  • Ensure recruitment processes evaluate hands-on skills, including automotive diagnostics, lean manufacturing, and EV technology.
  • Plan succession and retention strategies for critical and technical roles.
  • Lead performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies and legal requirements, managing risk and resolving employee issues fairly.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
