Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a human resources business partner or generalist
  • Experience creating and driving workforce and talent solutions such as organization design, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, engagement, talent development and succession planning.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate operational challenges into talent-focused initiatives that improve overall business operations.
  • Understanding of workforce data to formulate people insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to influence key decision makers.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute workforce strategies, including a focus on talent development and management, organization design, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Consult with business leaders to diagnose and analyze current and future talent needs, challenges and priorities, and identify and advise on appropriate solutions.
  • Coach and develop leaders to deliver on capabilities needed to achieve business priorities.
  • Understand key business issues and the connection to broader talent implications and initiatives including knowledge and insights regarding the labor market, talent and trends.
  • Partner with HR COEs to implement effective, business-oriented solutions that meet the specific challenges and needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations to provide high levels of service delivery.
  • Ensure corporate governance as related to MGIC policies, procedures and practices. Mitigate organizational risk and increase business and HR process compliance.
