About The Position

Superior Energy Services is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Lafayette, LA. This position will support the International Snubbing Services (ISS) and HB Rentals service lines. The role involves partnering with operational leaders and Corporate HR to align HR strategies with business priorities, workforce planning, and growth initiatives. The HR Business Partner will provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters, advise management on employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, investigations, terminations, and workplace concerns. The position supports field-based and operational employee populations, including rotational crews, manufacturing employees, and technicians. Responsibilities also include guiding managers on compensation, promotions, job evaluations, salary administration, and internal equity, coordinating HR processes for benefits, leave, training, performance reviews, employee communications, and compliance. The role involves reinforcing safety culture, supporting organizational changes, and analyzing HR trends to recommend actions for business improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, policy guidance, compliance, performance management, and HR business partnership support.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders and Corporate HR to align HR strategies with business priorities, workforce planning, and growth initiatives.
  • Provide practical guidance and ensure consistent application to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, programs, and employment-related matters.
  • Advise management on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, investigations, terminations, and workplace concerns.
  • Support field-based and operational employee populations, including rotational crews, manufacturing employees, and technicians.
  • Guide managers on compensation, promotions, job evaluations, salary administration, and internal equity in alignment with company practices.
  • Coordinate HR processes related to benefits, leave, training, performance reviews, employee communications, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with HSE and operations teams to reinforce safety culture and support workforce readiness.
  • Support organizational changes, including restructures, acquisitions, reductions in force, and site transitions.
  • Analyze HR trends such as turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, grievances, and headcount, and recommend actions to improve business outcomes.
