About The Position

DreamLawn powered by Holganix is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to serve as a primary resource for employees for such things as resolving benefits issues, answering policy questions, and carrying out company initiatives. You will manage day-to-day HR operations including recruiting and hiring team members, administering time and attendance, managing team member records, and ensuring compliance. As a member of the HR team you will coordinate with company leaders to address performance, attendance and policy violation issues. You will be a trusted advocate who guides team members through leaves of absence, workers’ compensation claims, career growth and other employment milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 5 or more years of broad HR experience (or relevant coursework, internship, or externship).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems and willingness to master Evolution/UKG Ready and Spark Hire.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members for all HR matters in the DreamLawn business unit of Holganix.
  • Source, attract, recruit, hire and onboard new team members. Conduct new hire orientation as needed.
  • Manage time and attendance, including tracking, reconciliation, and corrective actions. Resolve any pay discrepancies timely.
  • Review and process pay changes related to promotions, transfers, and annual increases.
  • Address team member complaints or issues, conduct team member investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Partner with leaders to address team member performance concerns.
  • Administer and maintain leave of absence programs, including FMLA
  • Support benefits administration; assisting new hires with enrollments and life events
  • Manage hourly worker’s compensation claims, including data collection and interacting with claim representatives
  • Conduct team member exit interviews and complete offboarding for departing team members. Respond to unemployment claims as needed.
  • Manage the completion of HR initiatives for the assigned business unit.
