About The Position

Join Linfox and support our BevChain operations as a trusted HR Business Partner in this 12-month fixed-term opportunity, based in Auburn (NSW) or Essendon Fields (VIC). You will partner with National and General Managers to deliver end-to-end HR support across a national portfolio, driving people outcomes in a fast-paced, operational environment. This role requires confidence managing complex ER matters, facilitating People Days, and balancing project delivery with day-to-day HR responsibilities, with regular interstate travel to maintain strong on-site presence. This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Auburn (NSW) or Essendon Fields (VIC).

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, business or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly dynamic blue-collar environment.
  • Proven experience managing operational HR and industrial relations matters.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR/IR practices.
  • Experience in an operational environment.
  • Exposure to HR systems, with strong organisational capability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with National and General Managers to translate business priorities into practical people initiatives
  • Managing complex employee relations matters end-to-end, including investigations, restructures, and consultation processes
  • Coaching leaders to build capability in performance management, engagement, and people leadership
  • Facilitating People Days and presenting to leadership groups across the business
  • Supporting key project work, including site go-lives, organisational change, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Monitoring compliance, training, and HR administration activities (e-forms, resignations, reporting)
  • Identifying trends in ER and workforce data to drive proactive solutions
  • Maintaining a regular on-site presence across multiple states, including monthly travel to Auburn (NSW) and other BevChain sites
  • Collaborating with Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, L&D and Training) to deliver seamless HR solutions
